as per my previous post, and also my life, i have a bit of a crush on google.

today Eric Schmidt, Google’s Executive Chairman, came to talk at MIT, and he kinda blew my mind.

i think most people had two real takeaways from the 1-hour talk:

1. Eric Schmidt’s a pretty funny guy. He can make a Terminator joke faster than you can even begin thinking about how to spell Schwarzenegger 
2. Audience participation is weird, but effective. The whole audience walked away remembering the mantra he impressed upon us: “In God we trust; all others, bring data.” Resonated nicely with the MIT folks. One of my classmates translated it into Latin in about five seconds (using Google Translator, natch).
